Originally a 2013 release for iOS and Android devices, Garfield Kart made its way to Nintendo 3DS and PC gaming network Steam in 2015, where it was met with derision for a frustrating interpretation of the kart racing genre. The eight characters, 16 tracks, and three game modes match the outline features of the first Garfield Kart, implying that this new game may be a remake or remaster rather than a true sequel. Notorious for being seen as a poor imitation of the Mario Kart formula, Garfield Kart is getting ready to rip up the asphalt once more as Garfield Kart: Furious Racing.Ĭartoon cat Garfield, along with reluctant owner Jon Arbuckle, puppy pal Odie, and a group of other friends will be tearing (or trundling) around an assortment of circuits on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC this November.
